Senior Manager of Social Media

We're looking for a Senior Manager of Social Media who will be the primary owner of Jones Road Beauty's social media presence—a strategic, hands-on creator who lives and breathes social. This role reports directly to the Senior Director of Creative Strategy (interim SVP of Marketing) and is perfect for someone who isn't just managing social media but is actively strategizing, creating, and shaping how we show up across social platforms.

The ideal candidate brings 5-7 years of social media experience in the consumer brands space, with a deep passion for content creation and an obsession with staying ahead of social trends. The ideal candidate for this role has a passion for creating content, is willing to be on camera,

• Manage and execute the social media content strategy and calendar, ensuring consistent brand voice and strategic alignment
• Lead day-to-day activities to maintain all social network accounts and communications on platforms, including IG, Tik Tok, Facebook etc.
• Create engaging content personally, including appearing on camera and serving as a key brand voice
• Develop platform-specific strategies tailored to each channel's unique formats and audiences (Reels vs. Carousels vs. Stories vs. Tik Tok)
• Collaborate with creators to build authentic partnerships and expand our reach
• Partner cross-functionally with Creative, Brand, Creative Strategy, and Influencer teams to ensure cohesive campaigns
• Track and analyze social performance metrics to continuously optimize engagement, reach, and overall social presence
• Manage our community manager and ensure consistent voice across social channels
• Stay plugged into emerging social trends and adapt our strategy quickly to capitalize on new opportunities

• 5-7 years of social media experience with a focus on DTC, beauty, or CPG
• Proven content creation skills across social channels with a portfolio demonstrating platform-specific expertise
• Creative strategy experience with the ability to translate brand vision into compelling social content
• Deep understanding of how content differs between formats and platforms, with particular strength in short form video creative
• Experience working with creators and a genuine obsession with the creator landscape
• Comfort and enthusiasm for being on camera as a brand creator
• Strong collaboration skills and experience partnering with cross-functional teams
