Overview

Insight Global is seeking a Sales Representative for a client of theirs in Montclair, CA. The role involves converting leads generated by the marketing team into sales through various communication channels. It requires guiding potential customers through a consultative sales process to identify their needs and recommend tailored solutions. This will be onsite 5 days a week.

Qualifications
  • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills to build trust.
  • Basic understanding of consultative selling techniques for high-ticket items.
  • Ability to overcome objections with persuasive and professional responses.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems to manage a large volume of leads effectively.
Responsibilities
  • Inbound Sales Focus:
    Convert leads generated by the performance marketing team through chat, phone, and email into sales. Company campaigns are planned, run and executed by the marketing team which provides leads to the sales team.
  • Customer Needs Assessment:
    Guide potential customers through a consultative sales process, identifying their needs, preferences, and budgets to recommend tailored solutions.
  • Product Expertise:
    Develop a deep understanding of the product range, including features, benefits, and optional add-ons like screens, lighting, or smart control units.
  • Upselling & Cross-Selling:
    Proactively suggest relevant upgrades (e.g. motorized options) to increase average order value.
  • CRM Management:
    Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, ensuring accurate documentation of preferences, objections, and next steps. Lead sheet for now.
  • Sales Follow-Up:
    Execute timely follow-ups to close undecided leads or address remaining concerns.
  • Sales Exhibitions:
    Attend relevant exhibitions and events to showcase our products, sell to customers, and increase brand exposure.
  • Competitor Knowledge: understand the difference between main competitors and be able to communicate them effectively to customers. Raise awareness about new competition.
