The LVN/LPN provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice in accordance with state requirements. In collaboration with the healthcare team, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LVN/LPN works to maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care, and improve the overall patient experience in the emergency care setting.

Education, experience, and training:

• Current and valid state license.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• IV certification upon hire (state specific).
• Current ACLS certificate preferred or within 120 days of hire.
• Current PALS certificate preferred or within 120 days of hire.

Montclair Hospital Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $25.00 to $36.21. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, based on skill set, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
