Warehouse Truck Driver (Part-Time) – Montana State Prison (MSP) – Deer Lodge, MT

Most of the over 1,600 inmates at the Montana State Prison (MSP) are released back into their communities after serving their sentence. You can make a difference in inmate daily life, leading to lower recidivism and better long‑term outcomes. MSP has a 24‑hour medical facility, educational programs, and a variety of work programs. With more than $700 million in infrastructure projects underway at MSP and other DOC facilities, the benefits of modern correctional construction and technology are on the horizon.

• Make pickup and deliveries to Montana State Prison, regional prisons, and other facilities across Montana.
• Deliver goods primarily to the Flathead Valley Reentry Center in Kalispell, MT.
• Receive and dispatch statewide deliveries, ensuring accurate inventory management.
• Assist in dispatching, scheduling, and time entry in the absence of the warehouse manager.
• Apply warehousing techniques including FIFO, merchandising, receiving, and secure distribution.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support warehouse operations.

• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Physical ability to lift 75–125 pounds and maneuver large equipment in small areas.
• Knowledge of warehousing techniques such as FIFO, merchandising, receiving, inventory management, and logistics.
