Insulation Installation Laborer

We are seekinga motivated and reliable Insulation Installation Laborer to assist our experienced team with the installation of insulation in various construction projects. This is a temporary position with the potential to become a full-time, permanent role for a dedicated and hard-working individual. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, eager to learn, possess a strong work ethic, and be comfortable with physically demanding tasks.

Day-to-day tasks will involve measuring, cutting, and installing various types of insulation materials in different settings and working closely with skilled tradesmen to ensure that projects run smoothly and clients are happy with the results. Comprehensive on-the-job training, including forklift training, will be provided to the right candidate.

• Assisting journeyman installers with all aspects of insulation installation.
• Loading and unloading insulation materials from trailers.
• Preparing insulation materials by opening bags and rolling insulation into walls and other designated spaces.
• Working from ladders to install insulation in elevated areas.
• Lifting, carrying, and maneuvering insulation materials (up to 70lbs) throughout the job site.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Performing other tasks as directed by the journeyman installer or supervisor.

• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Comfortable working from ladders.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds.
• Reliable and punctual with excellent attendance.
• Previous experience in construction or a related field is a plus, but not required.
• Forklift experience is a plus, but not required (training can be provided).
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Strict adherence to the company's no-smoking policy.

Job Type: Temporary, with possibility for ongoing full time depending on performance. Monday – Friday approx. 7am-4pm (Overtime encouraged).
