SUMMARYConstructs, repairs, and maintains St. Labre residential houses and buildings conforming to required codes and maintains equipment and tools by performing the following duties.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or GED; and six months to one year related experience and/or training in carpentry or construction required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Construction Technology Certificate preferred.
Valid Montana driver's license required.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Manual dexterity for using hammers, saws, wrenches, and other hand tools is continuously required, with twisting and turning above the waist. These functions are also occasionally required while balancing on ladders, platforms, or other uneven working surfaces, as well as reaching over the head with tools for procedures.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, extreme heat, and risk of electrical shock.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
