Responsibilities
  • Assist the Chef and Sous Chef in directing daily kitchen operations and fostering a positive team culture
  • Produce high-quality, visually appealing dishes confidently and professionally
  • Take ownership of food prep, cooking, and plating with attention to detail
  • Support team members as needed with a team-first mindset
  • Ensure food safety, allergen protocols, and recipe consistency are followed
  • Maintain organization and sanitation of workstations and equipment
  • Participate in team line-ups and communicate effectively across teams
  • Provide and receive feedback for growth and development
  • Uphold Boyne Standards and Boyne Basics for guest satisfaction
Qualifications

Recipe for success:

  • At least 2 years of culinary experience in a professional kitchen
  • Passion for culinary arts and hospitality
  • Knowledge of kitchen tools, equipment, food safety, and storage
  • Ability to follow recipes and accommodate dietary needs
  • Sense of urgency, responsibility, and pride in craft
  • Team-oriented, coachable, and eager to improve
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills
  • Availability for varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 35 pounds
  • Work on your feet for at least 8 hours
  • Climb stairs multiple times per shift
  • Carry full trays with either hand
