Deliver expert nursing care to medical/surgical patients requiring advanced monitoring in a hospital inpatient setting. This role involves managing complex patient needs-including use of central lines, multiple IV pumps, and ventilation support-while providing comprehensive care from admission through discharge. You will function as a clinical leader, guiding staff and supporting quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to medical/surgical patients in an advanced step-down unit
• Operate and monitor advanced medical equipment such as A-lines, invasive lines, chest tubes, and ventilators
• Assess patient conditions and apply established nursing policies and procedures with minimal supervision
• Lead and precept nursing staff ensuring adherence to clinical standards
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including providers, charge nurses, and supervisors
• Manage discharge planning and coordinate ongoing patient care needs

Qualifications and Desired

Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
• Current Montana RN licensure in good standing
• Proven experience in advanced medical/surgical and critical care nursing
• BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS, ENPC, and TNCC are preferred
• Strong clinical judgment with ability to manage complex patient cases and advanced nursing interventions
• Proficiency in operating multiple IV pumps and advanced medical equipment
