RN Labor and Delivery

We’re seeking a compassionate and skilled Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract assignment in Glasgow, Montana
. This role provides the opportunity to support mothers and newborns through labor, delivery, and postpartum care in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Requirements

• Active RN License (Montana or Compact Multi-State)
• BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required
• Minimum of 1–2 years of recent L&D experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient care skills
• Must meet pre-employment credentialing requirements (background check, drug screen, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and monitoring for laboring patients
• Assist with deliveries and immediate postpartum care
• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs, responding quickly to changes
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and care teams
• Educate and support patients and families throughout the birthing process
• Ensure compliance with hospital, state, and federal care standards
