We are looking for a profile with strong data understanding and an analytical mindset, who can turn structure and quality in data into stable operations and better business support across Montana’s digital platforms. The position is based in Copenhagen.

About the role

We are looking for a profile with strong data understanding and an analytical mindset, who can turn structure and quality in data into stable operations and better business support across Montana’s digital platforms.
As a System Specialist, you will be an important part of Digital Business Development and be responsible for working hands‑on with data and systems. You do not need to know Montana’s systems in advance – you will receive continuous training. What really matters is your ability to understand and analyse data, identify root causes and correct errors in order to ensure high data quality.
The role includes operational tasks as well as maintenance and problem‑solving. You will work in an investigative and analytical way with data and systems and become the one who identifies causes, creates overview and ensures stable solutions – both in day‑to‑day operations and in line with Montana’s digital development. In your daily work, you will collaborate closely with Montana’s Senior ERP System Specialist on data quality and cross‑functional coordination, and you will be involved in digitalisation and improvement projects.

Primary areas of responsibility

Data and business support

  • Structure, analyse, and quality‑assure commercial product data and master data
  • Ensure that data is practically usable for Sales, Marketing and Customer Service
  • Identify data‑related errors and their root causes across systems
  • Contribute to strengthening data models, processes and workflows
  • Handle pricing data, variants and attributes in a complex data environment

System operations and maintenance

  • Ensure stable operations and quality across Montana’s digital platforms
  • Carry out price updates and data runs in ERP (BC13)
  • Analyse errors and issues across systems and identify the causes
  • Ensure correct display and configuration in Design Pro and pCon
  • Maintain and ensure correct pricing data for price lists, systems and other channels

Systems and data flow

  • Ensure that data flows correctly between ERP, PIM, web and sales platforms
  • Document errors and patterns and contribute to long‑term solutions

    Work exploratively with the data chain and identify where and why something breaks
  • Ensure consistency, quality and coherence in Montana’s digital foundation
  • Ensure documentation and process descriptions

Cross‑functional collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Customer Service, Sales and IT
  • Coordinate tasks with external vendors
  • Support product launches and business‑critical updates
  • Participate in digital projects and optimisation initiatives as you develop in the role
