Yellowstone Club’s Culinary department is currently seeking candidates for a Cake Decorator position. This seasonal position is responsible for executing and decorating any type of cake, using modern looks and techniques for the various outlets and events at Yellowstone Club.
Responsibilities- Produce cakes for any outlet daily.
- Monitor inventory items used in the making of cakes, including basic items and special needs such as sprinkles, fondant, colors, etc.
- Communicate inventory needs with the Pastry Chef and ensure items are ordered.
- Follow all F&B standard operating procedures.
- Wash dishes and all cooking materials by machine or hand.
- Maintain kitchen work areas and equipment in clean condition.
- Sweep and scrub floors.
- Load/unload trucks that deliver or pickup food and supplies.
- Receive and stock supplies, store perishables, and rotate stock.
- Assist with basic food preparation and serve as needed.
- Prepare place settings and set banquet tables.
- Capable of creating custom cakes, including molding and sculpting any design required by members, prospects, or guests, producing up to 3 cakes per day when needed.
- Well versed in dietary needs of cakes, icings, and fillings when required.
- Basic kitchen safety knowledge.
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs continuously.
- Willing to work weekends and holidays.
- Excellent grooming standards.
- Ability to stand for 8–10 hours.
- Free transportation to and from Bozeman.
