Location: Gardiner
Delaware North - - Responsibilities:
Communicate with Office Coordinator or Laundry Supervisor regarding Housemen needs for linens for the floors and cottage;
Operate and tend the machines including washing and drying articles, such as sheets, draperies, linens, and carpets ensuring the correct volume of detergent, water, bleach, starch, and other additives are used as needed;
Sort, count and put away articles removed from dryers, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the laundry closet;
Inspect soiled articles to determine sources of stains, locate color imperfections, and to identify items requiring special treatment;
Iron or press articles, fabrics, banquet linens, napkins, spa linen using hand irons or pressing machines
