Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Laundry Worker to join our team at Yellowstone Park Hotel in West Yellowstone, Montana. - Communicate with Office Coordinator or Laundry Supervisor regarding Housemen needs for linens for the floors and cottage
- Operate and tend the machines including washing and drying articles, such as sheets, draperies, linens, and carpets ensuring the correct volume of detergent, water, bleach, starch, and other additives are used as needed
- Sort, count and put away articles removed from dryers, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the laundry closet
- Inspect soiled articles to determine sources of stains, locate color imperfections, and to identify items requiring special treatment
- Iron or press articles, fabrics, banquet linens, napkins, spa linen using hand irons or pressing machines
- Record all loads washed and dried to calculate productivity including loss of linens due to stains, tears and wear
- Ability to work effectively with others in fast‑paced environments, using effective communication skills with guests and team members
- Basic math skills
- Laundry worker experience in a hotel or other high‑volume location is beneficial
- No experience or diploma required
- Exposure to varying temperatures depending on weather and how many machines are in operation at any given time
- Long‑term standing, walking, bending, reaching, repetitive moving items up to 50 pounds
