Meticulous and guest-focused, the Room Attendant is central to maintaining the pristine conditions required to deliver a luxury experience across all guest rooms and common areas, as is expected of Forbes Five-Star properties and members of Relais & Chateaux. Detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to excellence, this role contributes directly to the unparalleled comfort of our guests.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Executes daily cleaning and servicing of assigned guest rooms and common areas with extreme attention to detail and efficiency.
- Performs comprehensive cleaning tasks including making beds, changing linens, sanitizing bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and restocking luxury amenities.
- Prepares rooms to meet rigorous inspection standards and readily accepts feedback to maintain quality.
- Monitors the function of guest room appliances, electronics, furniture, and fixtures, promptly reporting maintenance needs to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Maintains organized storage areas and communicates supply needs to leadership to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintains strict security and confidentiality of all guest property and information.
- Responds courteously to guest requests and escalates complex issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Assists with the maintenance of public spaces and supports laundry operations as needed.
- At least 6 months of prior housekeeping or hospitality experience in a high-end or luxury environment is preferred.
- Prior experience in a Forbes 5-Star or Relais & Châteaux property is preferred; however, candidates with a strong work ethic and a demonstrated commitment to mastering these rigorous standards will be considered.
- Valid Driver’s License preferred.
- Ability to perform assignments with minimal supervision while maintaining focus on minute details.
- Demonstrated ability to work cohesively with colleagues to support a high-performing team.
- Ability to use radio communication systems professionally and respond to calls in a timely manner.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to stand for long periods, move frequently between areas, and perform continuous physical duties including bending, pushing, and kneeling.
- Ability to regularly lift or move up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs.
