Overview

Yellowstone Club is a private residential community in Big Sky, Montana offering members access to the world’s only private ski and golf community. Our employees help deliver the Yellowstone Club experience and contribute to Montana charm and guest service excellence. Yellowstone Club’s Health & Wellness department is seeking candidates for a Spa Attendant for the upcoming Summer season. Summer employment dates are June – September.

The purpose of the Spa Attendant is to ensure the highest quality cleanliness and equipment maintenance throughout the Spa, Salon, Retail and Fitness Center for Members and guests of Yellowstone Club.

Major Responsibilities
  • Ensure that each Member and guest receives outstanding service in a friendly environment, including greeting and acknowledging every Member and guest, maintaining service standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest service.
  • Guarantee total Member satisfaction, display hospitality and professionalism at all times, and assure that all transactions are handled in a legal and ethical manner.
  • Understand and apply all property safety and security procedures to maintain a secure and safe environment for team members, Members, and guests at all times. In the event of an accident or emergency, seek medical attention if necessary and contact the Assistant General Manager or Human Resources immediately.
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with all Yellowstone Club team members to foster a positive working environment.

  • Exhibit a professional attitude, diplomacy and the ability to handle difficult situations.
  • Uphold gracious attendant procedures in the handling of customers throughout the cycle of their stay.
  • Be knowledgeable about all spa services, pricing, and other services provided by the YC Spa.
  • Professional telephone etiquette with guests in compliance with spa management terminology.
  • Enthusiastically serve guests in a timely manner, while implementing proper service standards.
  • Practice all sanitation and safety guidelines provided by the Department of Health and the Spa.
  • Maintain cleanliness standards in all areas of the spa, salon, fitness and retail.
  • Monitor spa traffic while catering to individual guest and member needs.
  • Efficiently tend to all incoming guests through the relaxation lounges, locker and wet areas, without creating a rushed feel.
  • Ensure smooth transitions from check-in to treatment time, meet guest needs and guide them through the process.
  • Maintain a pristine locker area appearance and restock all supplies continuously.
  • Assist guests with all aspects of their stay, particularly before and after the treatment process.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform duties in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with Club policies, procedures, and standards of service.
  • Meet departmental productivity, organization, punctuality/attendance and consistency standards.
  • Maintain a positive and respectful attitude.
  • Treat Members, guests, vendors, customers and co-workers with professionalism and respect at all times.
  • Maintain privacy of our Members at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and neat appearance at all times.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with all employees, supervisors, managers and directors.
  • Perform work in a safe and high-quality manner.
  • Project a favorable image of Yellowstone Club to Members and guests at all times.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
Physical Demands
  • Most work tasks are performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment; however, outdoor work may be required in extreme weather.
  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced ability for up to four hours; walking and standing are required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs on a regular basis.
