Position: Front of House Manager
Compensation: USD 106,000 annually plus USD 1,000 monthly housing allowance and relocation support

Position Overview

The Front of House Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front office and guest services functions at a luxury hospitality property. This role manages training, reporting, and service delivery while supporting teams to consistently provide exceptional guest experiences. The position is hands-on and well-suited for a leader comfortable refining processes and building systems in a newly opened environment.

Experience in smaller luxury or boutique properties is strongly preferred. An alpine or seasonal destination experience is a plus but not required.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage daily front office and guest services operations to ensure service quality and consistency
  • Lead, influence, and motivate team members through strong communication and example-driven leadership
  • Support financial and operational decision-making with integrity and accountability
  • Address guest complaints, disputes, and service recovery situations professionally
  • Implement and follow all emergency and safety procedures
  • Deliver service that exceeds guest expectations and drives satisfaction and retention
  • Coach team members to improve service standards and guest engagement
  • Actively interact with guests to gather feedback and assess satisfaction levels
  • Review guest feedback and satisfaction results with team members
  • Assist with interviewing, hiring, and onboarding front office team members
  • Maintain strong collaboration with all departments to support overall operations
  • Perform front desk duties during high-demand periods
  • Support additional responsibilities as assigned by senior management
Education and Experience
  • Minimum of two years of experience in luxury or boutique hotel guest services
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality operations, guest services, and team development
  • Previous reservations or front desk experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the Opera system
