Housekeeper H-2B position at West Yellowstone Conference Hotel.

Employer:
DNC Parks & Resorts of West Yellowstone, Inc. d/b/a West Yellowstone Conference Hotel. The hotel seeks twelve (12) full-time, temporary Housekeepers responsible for cleaning and maintaining rooms, suites, linen, laundry, and public areas in accordance with sanitation guidelines.
- Vacuum floors, dust, empty wastebaskets, and transport trash and waste to disposal area.
- Replenish supplies per housekeeping procedures; disinfect bathrooms; ensure linen, laundry rooms, and work areas are neat, clean, and organized.
- Interact with guests while cleaning guest and meeting rooms and assist guests as needed (e.g., providing towels or toiletries).
- Report maintenance repair problems to supervisor; ensure lost and found items are turned in and logged daily.
- Maintain ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, stoop, reach, kneel, carry, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Report directly to the Executive Housekeeper at West Yellowstone Conference Hotel.
- Three (3) months of experience at a high-end hotel, resort, or private club required.
- Must complete pre-employment background check at employer’s expense.
- Travel is not required; daily transportation to and from the worksite is not provided.
- Employee housing is available within walking distance to the worksite.
- On-the-job training is provided.
- Wage: $18.88 - $20.88 per hour, paid weekly.
- Overtime: $28.32 - $31.32 per hour.
- Potential for periodic wage increases based on performance or other factors; seasonal or other bonuses may be offered at Leadership Team discretion.
- Schedule:
35 hours per week; shifts may vary and include evenings, weekends, and holidays; work may be performed any day Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 5:00am–12:00pm or 3:00pm–10:00pm. - Hourly deductions and bonus eligibility are at employer discretion, with deductions required by law.
- Optional housing offered on a first-come, first-served basis for relocating workers; cost is $85.00 per week if accepted.
- If housing is used, total housing cost will be deducted from paycheck.
- Additional optional benefits may be offered for the worker’s benefit, including but not limited to health insurance.
- Employee costs/contributions for benefits will be deducted if elected.
- The employer may reimburse transportation and subsistence from recruitment to worksite after 50% of the work contract is completed.
- Employer will reimburse or pay reasonable inbound transportation and subsistence costs within the first workweek and outbound costs during the last workweek; reimbursement level is based on the most economical common carrier.
- Daily subsistence provided during travel up to $68.00 per day with receipts (rate $16.28 per day to maximum).
- Employer guarantees to offer work for at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period; tools, supplies, and equipment required for the job are provided at no charge.
- H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for visa-related fees and processing; government-mandated costs included (excluding passport fees).
