Job Summary

The Attendant, Laundry (Spa) is responsible for the inventory, transport, organization, and proper handling of all spa laundry, ensuring consistent availability of clean linens, towels, and robes to support daily spa and fitness operations. This role also provides additional support with receiving, transporting, and organizing package deliveries for the Wellness department. As operational needs require, the Attendant, Laundry (Spa) may be asked to assist with locker room and public space cleanliness throughout the day, helping to ensure all guest-facing and heart‑of‑house areas consistently meet luxury standards.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate inventory of all spa linens (incoming and outgoing), including towels, robes, and treatment linens.
  • Transport clean and soiled laundry safely and efficiently between the spa, storage areas, laundry facilities, and distribution points.
  • Organize linen storage rooms, cabinets, and shelving to ensure cleanliness, accessibility, and proper PAR level rotation.
  • Sort, count, stage, and distribute laundry according to department standards and operational needs.
  • Monitor linen quality and condition; identify damaged, stained, or unusable items and report shortages or replacement needs.
  • Ensure continuous availability of clean linens throughout spa, fitness, locker room, pool, and treatment areas.
  • Support spa attendants and therapists by restocking linens in treatment rooms, lockers, and service areas as needed.
  • Assist with receiving package deliveries, including verifying quantities, transporting items, organizing storage areas, and notifying leadership of arrivals.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness in back‑of‑house delivery, storage, and laundry areas.
  • Follow all hygiene, safety, and handling procedures for clean and soiled laundry.
  • Assist with opening, mid‑day resets, and closing procedures related to linen readiness.
  • Communicate effectively with spa leadership regarding inventory levels, shortages, and operational needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry carts, storage rooms, and transport routes.
  • Assist with locker room and public space cleanliness throughout the day, including light cleaning, removal of used linens, restocking amenities, and supporting spa attendants during peak periods.
  • Adhere to all resort safety, grooming, and operational standards.
  • Attend required meetings and training sessions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director, Wellness or other members of the Management team.
Skills, Experience, & Educational Requirements
  • Previous housekeeping / laundry experience is an advantage
  • Must have a strong understanding of cleanliness and inventory control
  • Familiarity with behind‑the‑scenes service excellence in a luxury resort environment is preferred
  • Must be detail-oriented, dependable, and organized
