Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Psych Nurse located in Warm Springs, MT. The Psych Nurse will be responsible for providing compassionate care to patients, conducting mental health assessments, administering medications, creating treatment plans, educating patients and their families, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. This role requires a strong understanding of mental health care practices and a commitment to enhancing the well‑being of patients.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in conducting mental health assessments and developing individualized care plans
  • Experience in patient care, medication administration, and crisis intervention
  • Strong communication, documentation, and active listening skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Knowledge of psychiatric nursing principles, medication management, and therapeutic techniques
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license and specialized certification in psychiatric nursing are preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field
  • Experience in mental health or behavioral health settings is a plus
  • Empathy, resilience, and commitment to patient‑centered care
