Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a compassionate and skilled Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) for a contract opportunity in Glasgow, Montana. This is an ideal role for travel nurses or Montana locals who want to provide patient-centered maternity care in a rural hospital where your presence truly matters.
Position Overview
As an L&D RN, you’ll care for patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. You’ll ensure safety, comfort, and confidence for mothers and newborns while supporting families through one of life’s most meaningful moments.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor fetal heart tones and maternal vital signs
- Assist with vaginal deliveries and C-sections
- Administer medications, epidurals, and IVs
- Support patients through labor and provide postpartum care
- Educate and support new parents
- Collaborate with providers and the healthcare team
- Active Montana RN license (or willingness to obtain)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent L&D experience required
- Calm, compassionate presence with strong critical thinking skills
- Comfortable in rural or critical access hospital settings
