Overview

Yellowstone Club is paradise in Montana. A private residential community in Big Sky, Montana, offering the world’s only private ski and golf community. Members enjoy skiing, golf, rivers, hiking and more. Our employees help create memorable experiences for Members and guests.

Yellowstone Club’s Health & Wellness department is seeking a Nail Technician for the upcoming Summer season. Summer employment months are June – September.

Major Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nail care services and recommend individualized hair, barber and spa treatments for Members and guests.
Essential Job Functions

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Review and make nail care recommendations to members and their guests.
  • Provide nail care treatments such as manicure, pedicure or gel nails for members.
  • Greet and treat Members and guests in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Check all supplies at the beginning of each shift; replenish from the stock room as necessary.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the work area and sanitize all tools.
  • Demonstrate and sell nail care and other spa products and services.
  • Stay current on industry news and trends.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform duties in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with Club policies, procedures, and standards of service to achieve the position’s objectives.
  • Meet departmental productivity, organization, punctuality/attendance and consistency standards.
  • Maintain a positive and respectful attitude; treat Members, guests, vendors, customers and co-workers with professionalism and respect.
  • Maintain privacy of Members at all times and maintain a neat appearance.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with all employees, supervisors, managers and directors.
  • Perform work in a safe and high-quality manner; project a favorable image of Yellowstone Club to Members and guests.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
Experience/Education Required
  • High School diploma or equivalent plus two years’ experience in a similar environment.
  • Able to speak clearly and effectively with Members, guests, co-workers, vendors and other Yellowstone Club departments. Able to write clearly and legibly.
  • Able to perform basic math calculations and solve basic problems or know when to involve a manager.
Certificates & Licenses
  • Valid MT Nail Technician license
  • Valid State Driver’s License
Computer Skills

Able to perform basic computer skills and willing to be trained on spa, salon & fitness software.

Language Ability

Able to speak clearly and effectively with Members, guests, co-workers, vendors and other Yellowstone Club departments. Able to write clearly and legibly.

Reasoning Ability

Able to solve basic problems and/or know when it is necessary to get a manager to assist in problem solving.

Work Environment

The work environment is generally climate-controlled. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. This position may require work outside in extreme weather as dictated by business needs.

Physical Demands

Constantly required to talk and hear. Constantly required to stand and walk, climb or balance, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 50 pounds. Visual acuity is required for accuracy and quality of work.
