Elementary Curriculum

Location: Sheridan

Sheridan School District is seeking a dynamic, energetic elementary teacher to step in and be a part of our Elementary Team beginning in the Fall of 2026. The successful candidate will provide age-appropriate instruction following the adopted District curriculum and Montana State Standards. They will need to be a cooperative team member of the school and community as we work together to promote Sheridan Schools and its vision of “educating the whole person, empowering them to reach their highest individual potential.”  

The successful candidate will be part of our team to promote positive behavior throughout our schools.  They will need to support Special Education students as IEP and 504 plans are developed cooperatively to meet the student’s individual needs.  The successful candidate may also perform other duties assigned by the building administration.

Sheridan Schools operate on a 4-day school week.  Sheridan is located in the lovely Ruby Valley.  It abounds in a variety of outdoor activities, including hunting, fishing, hiking, and camping.  Our students have many extracurricular opportunities, including volleyball, football, basketball, track, and forensics.  We also have strong FCCLA and FFA Chapters.  

Applicant must possess a Montana OPI Certified Class 2 License in Elementary Education (K-8).
