Special Education

Location: Twin Bridges

Twin Bridges School District is seeking a compassionate and dedicated K–12 Special Education Teacher to join our current Special Education team and support our exceptional students across grade levels. This full-time position for the 2026–2027 school year offers a meaningful opportunity to make a lasting impact on the academic, social, and personal growth of students with diverse learning needs.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with special education staff and general education teachers, our special education cooperative, administration, and families to create inclusive learning environments that help all students succeed. Responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs), providing targeted instruction and interventions, monitoring student progress, and ensuring compliance with state and federal special education requirements.

Qualifications

* Montana certification in Special Education or the ability to obtain licensure by the start of the 2026–2027 school year

* Knowledge of the special education evaluation process, IEP development, progress monitoring, and differentiated instruction

* Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families

* Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

Salary: TBD according to the negotiated CBA and STARS Act adherence.
