Are you a Special Education Teacher? Huntley Project School District #24 is seeking a dynamic Special Education Teacher to join our team. The Role:

Empowering Student Success - We are seeking a compassionate, team-oriented Special Education teacher to support students with diverse learning needs. In this role, you will manage an approximate caseload of 20 students while providing individualized instruction, coordinating services, and ensuring each student has the support needed to succeed academically and socially. Responsibilities include developing and implementing high-quality Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), monitoring student progress, and collaborating closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, families, and service providers.

Through participation in our Professional Learning Community (PLC) and use of the MTSS framework, you will work with colleagues to identify strategies that support student growth and achievement. Our ideal candidate is organized, student-centered, and committed to creating an inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and capable, with strong communication skills, and the ability to manage compliance requirements.

Requirements:
To be considered for this position, candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain a Class 1 or Class 2 Montana Teaching Certificate with a Special Education Endorsement prior to their start date. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a comprehensive background check, the submission of official transcripts, and the submission of all required HR documentation. We are specifically looking for educators who want to make an impact beyond the classroom;

therefore, applicants with a strong interest in coaching or advising extracurricular activities are highly encouraged to apply and will receive priority consideration.
