CTE - Agricultural Education

Location: Fairview

Fairview School is seeking a 7-12 CTE-Agricultural Education Teacher for the  school year. The successful candidate must possess the ability to develop and implement a quality program of study that prepares students for college and career readiness in agriculture and agriculture-related fields. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated knowledge in the delivery of class/lab instruction, Supervised Ag Education, and FFA to meet the needs of our students.

Our school has a CTE-Ag building with a designated classroom, automotive shop, welding area, and wood shop. As a district, we pride ourselves on offering a comprehensive educational curriculum and a variety of co/extra-curricular activities for students.

This teacher will also serve as the FFA Advisor (for an additional stipend) to keep the local FFA chapter in good standing.  Fairview students thrive in our agricultural-educational program, and multiple teams qualify for state FFA each year.

Fairview is a northeastern Montana agricultural community located in the beautiful Yellowstone River valley along the North Dakota border near the Yellowstone and Missouri River Confluence.

Fairview School runs on a 4-day school week. We utilize Power School and are a 1:1 Chromebook / Google school with technology and resources available to integrate with your teaching.  Small class sizes and opportunities for dual college credit through Williston State College, Miles Community College, and Montana Tech:

Teaching salary depends on education level and/or verification of previous years of experience. Certified teachers receive a quarterly bonus based on the current oil revenues received.

District housing within walking distance of the school is available at a reasonable cost, with access to a free on-campus community fitness room. Opportunities for extra-curricular positions may also be available.
