Scobey Schools is looking for a 7-12 FCS Teacher for the  school year.  Teacher is responsible for the 7-12 FCS program. We have a well established and varied program with a large well stocked FCS kitchen and classroom.

This is a 1.0 FTE position with Salary DOE.  

We are a 4-day school week! Health insurance, free lunch and free access to all activities, and wide selection of technology (iPads, Chromebooks, computer labs) included.

Must have or be able to obtain a 7-12 FCS Education Teaching Certificate for the State of Montana.

The FCCLA program is well established and Advising stipends are available.  Coaching opportunities are also available.

Our community is very supportive of the arts. Scobey’s community symphony, The Prairie Symphonette, practices twice weekly and puts on two concerts a year. The Dirty Shame Show, a variety show held the last weekend in June, has been in operation since 1967. Scobey is home to the Jack Reiner Big Band, which plays regional events and benefits. There are numerous hunting and fishing opportunities for the outdoors man. The community has a movie theater and newer community swimming pool.
