Location: Belfry

Belfry Public School is seeking an innovative and collaborative individual to join our team as a Elementary teacher. This position encompasses teaching responsibilities for grades K through 6 and requires a commitment to working with colleagues to promote cross-curricular teaching and learning. Our school is known for its progressive approach to education and dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive community.

Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement engaging and differentiated lesson plans for grades K through 6,

* Collaborate with colleagues to create interdisciplinary units that emphasize connections between Language Arts, Math, and other subject areas.

* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported in their learning.

* Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, including project-based learning, hands-on activities, and technology integration, to meet the diverse needs of students.

* Assess student learning through a variety of methods, including formative and summative assessments, and provide timely feedback to students and parents.

* Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in science education.

* Contribute to the school community through involvement in extracurricular activities, committees, and events.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

* Valid teaching certification in Elementary ed K-8.

* Experience teaching at the Elementary level, with a demonstrated ability to engage and inspire students.

* Strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Willingness to embrace innovative teaching methods and cross-curricular approaches.

* Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.

Salary:
All staff covered by the Master Agreement shall be paid at least the minimum amount required by to quality for the STARS . Any cell that is less than minimum amount required by the STARS Act shall be superseded by the minimum amount required for the STARS Act. For the  school year the minimum amount $42,863. You can bring in 7 years experience.
