Salary Grade: 7D ($17.16-$20.57-$24.02)/hr.

SUMMARY
Provides quality supervision and education of dormitory students by performing the following duties. Primary focus is centered on both male and female residents; however, attendants may be assigned to one gender at times.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Provides supervision as directed by the dormitory supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to six months child care experience in care of special needs adolescents or an AA degree in social services or related field; and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Will train the individual with the right combination of education and experience.
Ability to work an unscheduled partial or full shift may arise on occasion
KNOWLEDGE,
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Valid Montana driver's license.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk extensively, talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Physical demands include ability to work a split shift and deal with occasional sleep deprivation.
