Big Sandy School District is seeking applications for an Elementary Special Education Teacher at F.E. Miley Elementary School for school year .
Big Sandy School District operates on a 4 day school week, which has been viewed very positively by our staff and community. The District will provide a $1,500 new hire bonus to the successful applicant and also will support the applicant by providing an experirenced educator to act as a mentor. There is also a stipend for the applicant to participate in a long standing mentoring program.
Our district approved the STARS Act and the minimum salary is $41,615 plus benefits.
We are a 1:1 with respect to technology and purposely integrate technology meaningfully for the benefit of our educators and students. Big Sandy is locally known as being a magnet school in our region and as such, all aspects of our school culture reflect our dedciation to providing the best educational experiences possible to all students.
Salary:
Beginning salary is $41,615 + experience.
