Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, DOE

Full-Time, Onsite Position

Location: 77 Trails End Road, Eureka, Montana 59917

Schedule:

Monday‑Friday, 8:30 am – 5:15 pm

Friday; 9 am‑12 pm, once a month

As a Social Studies / History Teacher, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of teachers to support adolescents ages 13‑18 in their journey towards improved education and mental health.

• Curriculum Development:
  Create engaging and customized curriculum plans for Social Studies, US History, World History, and standards-based elective courses.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with clinicians and direct care staff to support students' academic and behavioral growth.
• Academic Support:
  Provide necessary academic tools and resources to foster student learning and development.
• Classroom Management:
  Manage student behavior effectively to create a conducive learning environment.
• Differentiated Instruction:
  Adapt lesson plans to accommodate varying ability levels and needs of students.
• Documentation:
  Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by school policies and state regulations.
• Compliance:
  Ensure adherence to state educational standards and requirements.

• Age: 21+ years of age or older
• Education
  :
  High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D required. Bachelor's in History, Social Studies, Education or related field.
• Skills
  :
  Curriculum building, public speaking, classroom management and behavioral health.
• Experience
  :
  Minimum of 1 year of experience working with adolescent populations is preferred
• Certifications
  :
  Teaching license in the State of Montana
• Background Checks
  :
  Must pass pre‑employment drug screen and federal and state background check in concordance with Montana state laws.

Chrysalis is a small therapeutic boarding school for adolescent girls aged 13 to 18 located in northwestern Montana.
