The Data Management Specialist reports to the Project Management Supervisor and plays a key role in supporting departmental operations through accurate data entry, organization, and reporting. This position is responsible for researching, compiling, and maintaining project-related data across multiple company systems. The specialist will ensure records, logs, and electronic files are kept current, organized, and aligned with internal processes.
This is an onsite role in Arlee, Montana.
EssentialJob Duties and Responsibilities
- Enter Change Requests and related information into the company’s Change Management program.
- Maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) within the company’s MRP system (Sage).
- Update and manage project information within project management software as needed.
- Assist with compiling reports and submitting project updates to the Product Development team.
- Track, log, and document departmental project activities.
- Maintain accurate and well-organized electronic project files and documentation.
- Collect, compile, and organize project data and performance metrics.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental objectives.
- High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime as needed.
- Strong computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- High attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
