SUMMARYComposes letters in reply to special correspondence from donors addressing concerns and/or answering requests for information by performing the following duties:

Assists other Development department areas when needed.

QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to six months related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of, or the ability to learn the following computer programs:
Portfolio Database, Word, Excel, E‑mail, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer. - Must possess a good command of the English language and have solid writing and spelling skills.
- Ability to read and compose sentences, paragraphs, letters, short correspondence and memos in a timely manner.
- Possess good problem solving and reasoning skills.
- Must be able to work effectively with different types of people and personalities.
- Willingness to work overtime, if needed, holidays and weekends.
- Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one‑on‑one situations with other employees and donors.
- Respects the teachings of the gospel of Jesus Christ in private, personal, and public life.
- Commitment to the mission of the Roman Catholic Church in Native American education.
- Sensitivity to and appreciation of Native American people and their cultures.
- Ability to serve as an appropriate role model for students.
