As an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for assistance, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff, patients, and visitors while delivering professional customer service.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and escalating concerns through the appropriate chain of communication.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.

+ Monitor access points and public areas, observe for unusual conditions, and report hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate department.

+ Complete daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs using required systems, maintaining accurate notes and timely communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Loss prevention experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
