Accounting Associate OverviewThis Accounting Associate will play a critical role in daily cash operations, ensuring accurate posting and reconciliation of a high volume of customer payments. The role is hands-on, detail-driven, and ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, understands accounting fundamentals, and is motivated to grow.
Accounting Associate Key ResponsibilitiesReceive, post, and reconcile a large volume of daily customer payments
The Accounting Associate will manage AR accounts, including posting payments, handling short or partial payments, and responding to customer inquiries
Assist with AR collections as needed, including occasional phone or email outreach
The Accounting Associate will perform Excel-based reconciliation, data manipulation, and payment allocation
Support continuous improvement efforts within the accounting function
2+ years of Accounts Receivable or accounting experience preferred
Solid understanding of debits, credits, and basic journal entries
Strong Excel skills, including lookups and reconciliations
Demonstrated progression in prior roles and curiosity to learn beyond assigned tasks
Reliable, professional, and collaborative approach to work
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
Strong two-year accounting degrees will be considered if technical foundation and growth mindset are evident
