Overview
QPS Employment Group is hiring a Sanitation Tech for a company in Monroe, WI. This is a 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire.
Responsibilities- Operate and receive certification for forklift, pallet jack, and walkie forklift
- Conduct CIP and COP tank verifications (i.e., Chemical concentrations, flow, time, and temperature)
- Communicate any food safety related issues to supervisor or managers
- Observe facility and equipment conditions to ensure in good condition and in compliance
- Perform and follow SSOPs on production tools and equipment
- Document sanitation and production checks
- Follow proper GMPs, PPEs, and chemical handling practices
- Tear down production equipment for cleaning throughout facility
- Use foaming equipment and scrub facility equipment
- Understand chemical usages and purposes
- Verify equipment cleanliness after cleaning practices
- Follow facility color coding program to cleaning methods
- Complete Master Sanitation Schedules on a timely matter
- Assist Line and Floor Sanitation Supervisors
- All other duties as assigned
- Possess organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pay close attention to the detail
- Capable of following directions given; consistency is crucial to the position
- Must have proficient manual dexterity to perform routine functions
- Sit 1-2 hours per day
- Stand 4-10 hours per day
- Walk 4-10 hours per day
- Frequent bending
- Occasionally reach, kneel, and squat
- Able to lift/carry up to 40 pounds
- Able to push/pull up to 60 pounds
Wage: $20.34 per hour
Shift: 2nd
Hours: 2:00pm-11:00pm
