We’re hiring a Baker to assist with the preparation of Wet Noses Natural Dog Treats in a large industrial manufacturing setting.

$18.00/hr – $18.00/hr

At Wet Noses Natural Dog Treat Company, the Baker is responsible for performing a variety of baking duties to assist with the preparation of Wet Noses Natural Dog Treats, including direct and indirect contact with raw ingredients. This job is performed in a large industrial manufacturing setting, with ovens over 100 feet long and mixers weighing around 2,000 pounds. The role requires heavy lifting and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

• Mix raw ingredients per Wet Noses specifications/batch sheets.
• Puts finished dough into hopper.
• Inspects treats to ensure they meet the standards required for production.
• Puts finished product into super sacks as required.
• Report food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
• Wash hands prior to direct handling of food.
• Sanitation:
  Clean and maintain work areas, utensils, and equipment.
• Knowledge of product & ingredients.
• Thorough understanding of dough consistency.
• Follow FIFO (First in, First Out) by rotating products.

• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Must be able to multi‑task.
• Must show attention to detail and follow directions.
• Very quick learner in a fast‑paced, manufacturing environment.
• Persistent and dependable, especially with attendance.
• Able to adapt to a constantly changing environment with flexibility to work extended hours.

• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
• Stand for long periods of time.
• Required to use hand to finger, handle, feel objects and reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk and hear.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
