Facilities Administrator

Pay: $22.00-$26.00/hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm

We’re looking for a Facilities Administrator to support our Facilities department by coordinating essential administrative tasks and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role plays a key part in purchasing, inventory management, invoice processing, reporting, and documentation updates.

What You’llDo
  • Planning and scheduling facility department activities - PMs/repairs/projects
  • Purchasing spare parts and supplies
  • Inventory management – ensure critical parts are in stock
  • Break down invoices and ensure the costs are input into the correct account strings for processing
  • Update Facilities logs, PMs into Megamation
  • Keep track of site contract labor hired and reconcile at the end of each month for billing
What Helps You Succeed
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing philosophy
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (intermediate or advanced in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • High level of English proficiency (spoken/written/grammar/punctuation)
  • Able to multitask under tight deadlines; set priorities; perform responsible and difficult administrative work involving the use of independent judgment and personal initiative
  • 3 years of experience in office administration an asset
  • Related experience in equipment planning considered an asset
