Drivers’ licenses, previous irrigation experience, and the ability to obtain a DOT medical card (requires a drug test by federal requirements). Starting rate of pay is $22 per hour and could increase from there dependent upon previous work experience and any certifications/licenses you hold.

An Irrigation Technician foresees potential problems and has the specialty skills needed to solve them. Careful planning and the ability to anticipate issues are qualities that Bright View particularly values. People with a proactive work-style are just what our customers expect.

• Monitoring and testing new installations, troubleshooting and repairing problems, observing pipe and valve placements, and evaluating start-ups, winterization, and overall operation of the irrigation system.
• Conducting and recording detailed inspections and planning/executing upgrades of client systems.

• A minimum of 1 year of productive experience in the installation, inspection, and repair of irrigation systems, along with supervisory skills and a proactive manner.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Good knowledge of trenchers, multimeters, wire locators, ditchers, and pipe sizing.

• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Ability to create and read site map coloured charts/legends.
