Overview

Eick Global STEM Academy is a small childcare program in Monroe, OH. We are professional, creative, and our goal is to develop innovative thinkers and the design process in our students!

We are looking for a dedicated, dependable teacher who is a team player to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our preschool/pre-k students.

7:30am - 4:00pm. Monday - Friday with 30-minute lunch.

• Have a passion for teaching young children.
• Have the ability to create and implement creative and engaging lessons and activities that meet the needs of all students and promote learning and development.
• Have the ability to foster positive relationships with parents/guardians and colleagues.
• A valid CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

• Create and Implement lesson plans for children using The Creative Curriculum.
• Supervise and monitor the safety of all children in the classroom and beyond.
• When applicable, be responsible for diaper changes and toilet training.
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
• Organize activities that develop motor skills, social skills, and problem-solving skills.
• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Must pass background checks and drug screenings.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent education.

We offer training for new staff where one can earn their Child Development Associate (CDA) if they do not already have a higher educational degree.
