Plumbing Foreman

Overview

Mullins Mechanical is a leader in industrial and large commercial mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC construction projects in environments such as manufacturing facilities, automotive plants, chemical plants, distribution centers, warehouses, and other large facilities. We are a self-performing specialty contractor specializing in design-build applications, HVAC systems, plumbing, process piping systems, boiler and chiller systems, equipment installation and rigging, plant relocation and maintenance, and metal fabrication.

We are looking for an experienced Plumber Foreman to join our team.

• Interpret blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials
• Install pipes and fixtures, such as sinks and toilets, for water, gas, steam, air, or other liquids
• Install supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to installation
• Assemble fittings and valves for installation
• Modify length of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing materials as needed for a building
• Use saws and pipe cutters as necessary
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Demonstrate excellent management and planning skills
• Read, interpret, and implement drawings and specifications; have knowledge of electrical codes and standards
• Travel regionally to jobsites; must have reliable transportation
• Lift up to 50 pounds; can reach, stand, kneel, and climb ladders as required
• Be detail oriented with excellent interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and proven leadership skills; manage multiple projects/tasks
• Plan, execute, and close out multiple projects in short periods to satisfy clients
• Maintain a good understanding of construction methods and blueprint reading

• Valid Driver's License
• Journeyman Plumber
• Master's Plumbing License (a plus)
• Background check
• Drug screen
