- Deliver patient‑centered care to adult critical care patients post cardiac surgery.
- Manage and monitor patients on complex cardiac devices: ECMO, Impella pumps, LVAD/RVAD.
- Engage in bi‑daily patient presentations to healthcare teams, ensuring accurate communication of care status.
- Utilize Epic electronic medical record system for documentation and coordination of care.
- Float to other adult critical care units as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
- Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years CVICU or CTICU experience.
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.
- Proficiency in Epic EMR is mandatory.
- Skilled in managing high‑acuity cardiac surgery patients and sophisticated circulatory support equipment.
- Strong communication skills for patient presentations and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- 12‑hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
- Weekend rotation on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.
- No on‑call or call‑back requirements.
