POSITION DETAILS - DMG
1250
- 5 axis mill/turn with vertical and horizontal machining
- 55" vertical turning table with indexing capabilities
- 2 pallet machine (picture below right doesn't show a pallet changer)
- Celos Siemens CNC control
- Capto C10 183 pocket tool changer
- Will machine medium to large size casing components and housings
- Operator will perform hydrostatic testing while machine is in operation
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
- Use of mathematics together with the use of complicated drawings, specifications, charts, tables; various types of precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to define routine problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret basic technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form. Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The associate is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch. The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. The associate may, in rare occasions lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Related machining experience preferred
