Read and follow established procedures to prepare electrodes for remelting;
Efficiently set-up and turn around remelt furnaces, operating and making necessary adjustments according to established procedures;
Perform furnace changes, lead changes, and other basic maintenance as needed;
Maintain accurate, complete, and legible logs, records, and charts;
Pour heats according to established procedures and assist with hot transfers;
Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts and cranes.
