* If you have experience in pipe-fitting, what are you waiting for??
* Pipe Fabrication Facility located in Indian Trail, NC off Hwy 74.
* No per diem for shop positions.
* Pay depends on experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Selects the type and size of pipe, fittings, valves, steel, equipment, and related materials to assemble as instructed.
* Plans a sequence of operations, applying knowledge of geometry, effects of heat and allowance for weld shrinkage in preparation to welding.
* Lays out, positions, aligns and fits components together according to blueprints and project specifications.
* Moves parts into position manually or by hoist, cranes, jigs, fixtures, clamps and jacks.
* Cuts, threads, bends, shape pipe, and steel with various tools and equipment.
* Loads, transports, and unloads materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
* Performs minor maintenance and cleaning activities of tools, equipment and facility.
* Responsible for observing and complying with all safety rules, including wearing personal safety equipment.

Requirements
* Technical or on-the-job experience as well as certifications are preferred.
* Take a company-written pipefitter's test (NCCER).
* Working knowledge of B31.5 piping code,
* Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
* Make decisions based on measurable criteria.
* Apply basic math, geometry, and trigonometry mathematical functions to solve problems.
* Plan work and select proper tools.
* Visualize objects in three dimensions from plans and drawings.
