Manufacturing Team Leader

Tyco Fire Protection Products (TFPP) is a business unit of the Tyco Fire & Security Division, specializing in saving lives and protecting property with a broad portfolio of chemical and water products, as well as mechanical products for the fire protection and building products industries.

Tyco Fire Protection Products (TFPP) is seeking a Manufacturing Team Leader to work at our Monroe, NC site. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Monitoring operators to ensure finished products are assembled, fabricated, and packaged correctly.
• Ensuring assigned employees receive breaks and lunch in a timely manner.
• Alerting supervisors, engineers, materials, and maintenance of any problems that require extra assistance.
• Ensuring operators stay current with production boards and meet schedule adherence.
• Arranging and preparing raw materials, partially finished or finished products according to specifications.
• Ensuring workload assignment for designated associates and facilitating cross-training.
• Providing production reports and key performance metrics as directed by the supervisor.

The Manufacturing Team Leader will also be responsible for supervising employees, monitoring attendance, and adhering to company EHS regulations (Zero Harm).

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

• A High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and proven leadership skills.
• Experience in manufacturing operations, with technical skills including:
• Leadership and team management.
• Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, BAAN).
• IPC 610, ESD, and Hazmat DOT knowledge.
