Branch Leader – Monroe Courthouse – Truist (Monroe, NC)

Job OverviewThe branch leader is responsible for managing all aspects of the assigned branch, including driving performance, coaching, business development, compliance, and human capital management. May be cross‑trained to assist with teller transactions as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Promote a positive public image and Instill Truist’s Purpose, Mission, and Values.
- Drive business development and branch revenue through Small Business, Mass Affluent, Community Heroes, and Integrated Relationship Management.
- Generate growth via face‑to‑face appointments, outbound calling, and prospecting.
- Participate in civic, professional, and community events to develop new business.
- Lead, coach, and motivate team members to meet performance goals.
- Partner with Integrated Relationship Management and Operations to ensure compliance and a One Team culture.
- Handle human capital decisions: interview, hire, schedule, review, and coach team members.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training.
- Two years of financial services and consumer/small business experience.
- One year of branch leadership or management experience.
- Strong interpersonal, sales relationship, and prioritization skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Compliance with SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act within 30 days of employment, including new or transfer registration and NMLS background check.
- Ability to inspire, lead, and coach others.
- Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Banking.
- Graduate of an Internal Leadership Development Program.
