The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for supporting the Operations Partner, Corporate Supply Chain by conducting analysis, facilitating waste initiatives using six sigma methodologies, building Power

BI interfaces to aid in data analysis, and owning trade partner relationships that support the home building process. The Supply Chain Analyst provides market coverage and support for Supply Chain Market Partners as assigned that ensure continuity of Trade Partner execution of our capacity, competency, and cultural alignment standards.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitates waste initiatives with trades, supply chain, and plant floor by using proven six sigma methods. These initiatives are meant to reduce variance or hard costs.
  • Builds capability to design basic Power

    BI graphics and partner with ETS on transitioning those to real time production once we see the value add within Supply Chain.
  • Learns the dynamics to perform truss quoting and transition that logic into an AI model that will reduce the process to 3 minutes/quote.
  • Supports the Supply chain managers by owning cost codes and being responsible for the Cultural Alignment, Capacity, Competency, and Cost execution to the plant floor for the trades assigned.
  • Executes projects as required to support decision making for Corporate Supply Chain managers. This will routinely involve analyzing and then creating exec summaries and recommendations.
  • Prepares the Charlotte market SCMs for their bi-weekly charter reviews by proactively reviewing the last two weeks of performance and providing a summary to the team 16 hours prior to the meeting.
Supply Chain Market Partner Support
  • Plant Management Responsibilities (for cost codes owned)
    • Reviews performance bi-weekly with the field
    • Sources new bench trades as required
    • Conducts onboarding of new trades
    • Executes daily call protocol, when required
    • Evaluates root causes for non-conformance and submit recommendations to SCMP
    • Completes plant floor walks
Results/Accountability
  • Delivers measurable cost and variance reduction by leading and supporting waste-reduction initiatives using Six Sigma methodologies across trades, supply chain, and plant operations.
  • Achieves Six Sigma Green Belt certification within 12 months by successfully completing two approved improvement projects that provide documented value to the business.
  • Designs and delivers actionable Power BI dashboards that improve visibility into supply chain performance, demonstrating proficiency within the first six months and partnering with ETS to transition high-value visuals into production.
  • Maintains cost performance for assigned cost codes at or better than organizational benchmarks through disciplined monitoring, root cause analysis, and trade partner accountability.
  • Builds functional knowledge of the truss quoting and design process, contributing to the development of an AI-enabled quoting model that materially reduces quote turnaround time.
  • Provides consistent, decision-ready insights by analyzing performance data and delivering clear executive summaries and recommendations that support Corporate Supply Chain leadership decisions.
  • Ensures readiness and alignment for market performance reviews by proactively preparing Supply Chain Managers with accurate, timely performance summaries ahead of bi-weekly charter reviews.
  • Demonstrates effective trade partner influence and negotiation by reinforcing cultural alignment, capacity, competency, and cost expectations through ongoing field engagement and performance reviews.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, Supply Chain or relevant field required
  • Two or more years of transferable experience required
  • Strong problem solving, persuasion, and negotiation skills required
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and reliable personal transportation required for travel in NC and SC as needed
