Office clerks serve as liaison between Kimbrell’s Furniture and our valued customers. The role requires a high level of professionalism, customer service, persuasion, negotiation skills, and problem‑solving to resolve customer debts and collect payments.

• Interact with customers in a courteous, professional manner while collecting payments.
• Apply knowledge of cash management procedures and best practices to handle transactions accurately.
• Follow established collection procedures and strategies.
• Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts.
• Gather and verify customers’ personal and credit information.
• Maintain customer loyalty while initiating payment collections.
• Maintain and update records of customers with collections.

• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Strong teamwork and cooperation skills.
• Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques.
• Proficiency in MS Office and database use.
• Patience and ability to manage stressful work situations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Prior office experience.
• Problem‑solving skills.
• Availability on weekends and holidays.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Salary ranges vary by location:
Charlotte, NC $55,000.00–$65,000.00;
Fort Mill, SC $35,000.00–$45,000.00;
Harrisburg, NC $48,492.00–$60,320.00. Additional locations include $40,000.00–$45,000.00 and $75,000.00–$90,000.00.
