Automotive Mechanic​/Dismantler

Job Summary

• Drain and evacuate all fluids from the vehicles
• Follow directions on the dismantle report to ensure property part handling
• Tag any part being removed from the vehicle and place it in designated area
• Break down wheels and tires daily and place them in designated area
• Clean dismantle bay daily including cleaning the floor, placing scrap in correct containers, placing tools in correct tool boxes. Keep work area free of clutter and spills
• Obtain and maintain all necessary tools
• Keep accurate time and attendance records
• Other duties as assigned

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a technician or mechanic
• Automotive Knowledge is preferred
• Own the required tools to perform the job
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to problem solve
• Excellent communication skills

• Must be able to pass a physical and drug screen
• Have a satisfactory background screening
