Assignment Details

Start Date:

03/02/2026 (ASAP)
Contract Length: Ongoing
Specialty: OB (95%) / GYN (5%)
Minimum Coverage: 3-4 weeks per month
Patient Population:
Teenagers and adults

Schedule

1 24-hour hospital shift per 7 days (provider must be in-house, not on pager)
Room available next to L&D for waiting

2 8-hour clinic days per week (Monday-Friday)

Patients per Day: 14 (every 30 minutes)
EMR: eClinical Works
Hospital Setting:
Community health centers
Department: 5 other OB providers + midwife supportClinical Responsibilities & Setting
- Onsite ultrasound
- Deliveries performed at neighboring hospital
- 1,500 deliveries per year
- Support staff for call: LPN, MA, receptionist, other doctors
Licensure, Certification, & Requirements
- Board Certified (BC) in OB/GYN only - BE not accepted
- State License: Active NY required (local candidates only)
- DEA License: Required
